Quiet Arashiyama Bamboo Grove

Sep 11, 2021

I walked through Arashiyama Bamboo Grove last weekend. It would be really crowded with tons of people before Covid-19 pandemic, but now (even on Sunday) it is very very quiet. I took my first 360 degree photos with GoPro Max and I wanted to share them with you. You can notice how quiet the bamboo grove was.

FYI, Arashiyama district, one of the most popular tourist spots in Kyoto, used to be a villa district for aristocrats in the Heian period (794 -). Beautiful area where there are mountains, river and bamboo grove.
